Alongside Beauty Culture, Harriet also offers special effects makeup workshops that focus on the grizzlier side of makeup! These are held at Goreshop which is based in a customised special effects makeup studio situated in Malvern. There are a variety of workshops available.
Workshops can be run either in person at the Goreshop or other suitable location (such as a school, college or workplace). Makeup kits and step by step instructions can be ordered to further enhance the sessions.
Mini Gore Workshop
Time – 1 hour 30min approx

This workshop is ideal for people that want a taster of the more grizzlier side of make up, if you really enjoy the session you can come back for workshop one and two for longer and learn more skills and techniques. What to expect – During this workshop you will be given a demonstration of bruises, cuts and scratches and then given time to create your own gruesome look in the GORESHOP Studio using professional products. The make-up effects can be created on yourself or another person in your group or party. You will have the opportunity to take photo’s of your work and leave feeling confident to recreate the looks at home. If you are booking a 1-2-1 you can work on yourself or bring your own model. A patch test is recommended 24 hours before the session as you will be working with latex, grease paint and fake blood. Fancy giving it a go?
